As your advocate, I pledge to pursue innovative strategies at both the state and territorial levels to provide the support and incentives necessary to retain our experienced professionals and entice the next generation to join their ranks. While the proposed hospital in Bruce, promoted as the hospital in the North, is a step forward, it's clear that a hospital in Gungahlin is essential. Access to quality healthcare should be convenient and fair for all residents, and I will advocate tirelessly to make this a reality.
As the population in Yerrabi continues to grow, it's crucial to improve our road infrastructure to accommodate this expansion. Safe and efficient transportation is fundamental to our community's well-being, and I will work diligently to ensure our roads meet the needs of our residents.
I recognise the importance of investing in our parks and recreational facilities, especially for our children. Upgrading parks with safe and engaging amenities not only fosters healthy lifestyles but also reduces financial strain on families. I will prioritise these upgrades to ensure all families have access to quality recreational spaces without additional financial burdens.
