G’day, I’m Sneha KC. As a dedicated registered nurse specialising in geriatric care, I’m committed to driving meaningful change. While Canberra might seem perfect on the surface, it hides issues that need our attention. I believe unity is key to tackling these challenges. My goal is to bring people together to address the widespread issue of loneliness in our society. Together, we can make a difference in our community and create a brighter future for everyone.

The Story of my life

My journey to Canberra started in 2011 when I enrolled at the University of Canberra. Despite facing challenges because my degree wasn’t initially recognised, I quickly noticed a stark difference in community development compared to where I had come from. As I immersed myself in the community, I realised that despite the outward appearance of perfection, there were still significant areas that needed attention and improvement.

Philosophy

My philosophy is guided by the belief that "Nobody knows everything, but everybody knows something." I approach leadership with an open mind, ready to learn from everyone and value each person's unique contribution to society

Advocacy

As a practice nurse, I've seen the challenges faced by our elderly population, such as limited access to healthcare. This has driven my advocacy for basic rights like fair healthcare and quality education for all.

I am committed to serving, listening, and understanding the diverse needs of our community. I believe that by addressing the fundamental rights of every individual, we can create a more inclusive and supportive Canberra.
